The Google AdWords Certification is a globally recognized stamp of approval from Google that showcases your knowledge of the latest AdWords tools and best practices as well as your ability to effectively manage AdWords campaigns. AdWords Certified individuals receive a personalized certificate from Google Partners that can be shown to future employers as a way to demonstrate your expertise.
You need to pass 2 of the AdWords certification exams to become an AdWords certified professional — the AdWords Fundamentals exam and one of the following: Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, Video Advertising, or Shopping Advertising. While not required, it is recommended that all students undertake the AdWords Certification exams upon completing the Digital Marketing Course.
Students may use the Digital Marketing course as a self-study training pack that can be completed at their own pace or professors may choose to incorporate the modules into their lesson plans. We recommend that students review all modules to derive the maximum benefit from the course, however students should pay particular attention to the AdWords Fundamentals and the campaign type they have chosen to take the exam for, if opting into the optional AdWords Certification category of the competition.
